	To avoid the devastating effects of global warming and eliminate the emission of harmful greenhouse gases,we are guided by the following principles:

		AVOID: Avoid energy use when possible.

		REDUCE: When necessary, use energy as efficiently as possible.

		SUBSTITUTE: Once every efficiency measure has been taken, substitute fossil-fuel based power with clean, renewable energy.

		OFFSET: If you cannot substitute with clean, renewable energy then purchase clean power offsets.
